Title of the position:
Building Superintendent

Job duties:
• Perform daily inspection on the building interior and building systems;
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs;
• Perform other routine maintenance work such as a drywall repair and painting;
• Provide general assistance to skilled tradespersons;
• Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment
• Participate in and coordinate the moving of heavy furniture, equipment and supplies into and out of the showroom and commercial office space;
• Supervise other workers; and
• Other duties as required.

Skills requirements:
Secondary school education is required

Previous maintenance experience within a commercial office/showroom setting is strongly preferred, but not required.

Wage:
$37.00 per hour

Hours:
30 hours per week
