ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Shadow Recruiters is hiring on behalf of a well-established industrial manufacturing facility in Windsor, Ontario. This is a hands-on Maintenance and Machine Repair Technician role inside a large-scale steel manufacturing operation. The facility runs a wide range of heavy industrial CNC equipment and is looking for someone who can troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix machines — and keep the whole operation running.

This is a stable, permanent position with a company that has been in operation for decades. If you have strong industrial maintenance experience and you know your way around CNC equipment, we want to hear from you.


WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment throughout the facility — with a specific focus on CNC milling machines, Blanchard rotary surface grinders, and CNC cutting tables. You will respond to all maintenance tickets, perform both reactive repairs and planned preventive maintenance, and work as part of a team to keep production running.

This is not a narrow specialist role. You will be expected to handle what needs handling — from a complex CNC drive fault to a building maintenance task. If something is broken, you fix it.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of maintenance and repair experience in an industrial setting, with proven hands-on experience repairing CNC equipment specifically. You are someone who can read a PLC ladder diagram, diagnose a hydraulic fault, and get a machine back online without waiting to be told exactly how.

Experience or education in electrical or millwright trades is a strong asset but is not required. What matters most is your track record of maintaining and fixing industrial equipment and your ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key experience we are looking for includes repairing PLC-CNC milling machines, Blanchard grinders, and CNC cutting tables. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, VFDs and servo drives, and basic electrical troubleshooting on industrial machinery is also highly valued.


WHAT YOU NEED

— 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance and machine repair experience
— Proven experience repairing CNC equipment in a manufacturing environment
— Ability to diagnose and repair PLC-CNC mills, Blanchard grinders, and CNC cutting tables
— Comfortable working in a team environment
— Available for day shift with willingness to work afternoons and overtime as required
— Electrical or Millwright certification (309A, 442A, or 433A) is a strong asset — not required
— Legal authorization to work in Canada without employer sponsorship
