Have you worked in Printing? Bindery operator needed for local company. How much experience do you have? Maybe you want to make a new start? We are looking for someone who has experience in the print industry and is willing to bring that knowledge with them!
Principle Accountability:
Reviews and interprets technical job instructions; completes production records for quantities, information etc.
Performs process related troubleshooting and correction; monitors production
Performs cutting, folder, stitching and hand bindery operations
Performs preventative maintenance on all pieces of bindery equipment
Knows and applies all company safety procedures and instructs crews on same
Ensures company production and quality procedures are followed
Training employees on equipment operation
Assists in cleaning up and keeping production area neat and orderly
Performing other tasks as required

Skills and Qualifications:
Handy with tools and equipment, mechanically inclined.
Computer literate.
Ability to lift various size rolls to load/offload on printing machines (i.e. 60lbs).
Eye for detail.
Superior communication (both written and oral), time management skills, and an eye for detail.
Ability and willingness to switch gears at a moment’s notice.
Ability to work independently within a strong, fast-paced, cooperative environment.

Bonus Marks:
Ability to drive motorized pallet jacks and forklifts.
Any type of related print knowledge
Certificate program graduate, Post secondary or equivalent work experience.

This is a full-time position in Regina. Pension and benefits with wages based on experience.
