Willowcrest Equestrian Center is a private 9-stall equestrian facility located just east of Calgary. We are committed to providing consistent, high-quality horse care within a calm, organized, and professionally managed environment.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and experienced individual to join our team in a weekend barn help role. This position is well-suited to someone who is confident working with horses, values routine and consistency, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of care.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday
Compensation: $140 per day
Start Date: Immediate


Key Responsibilities
Feeding horses in accordance with established schedules
Safe turnout and bring-in of horses
Blanketing and routine daily care
Stall cleaning and general barn upkeep
Cleaning pens and assisting with property maintenance
Monitoring horse health and reporting any concerns promptly


Qualifications

Previous hands-on experience working with horses
Strong reliability and punctuality
Ability to follow established routines and instructions
Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean facility
Reliable transportation



Work Environment
This role is an integral part of daily operations. Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and understand the importance of consistency in animal care.
