Want to ride a head turner:

Gus is a 5 year old dun draft cross gelding ( 3/4 quarter horse 1/4 Percheron). He’s getting ready for you to enjoy the summer on. He 17”1” hands and has beautiful bone and nice black feet. He had 60 days last fall of riding and driving. Gus is easy to catch and stands well for the farrier. He’s best suited for an experienced rider to move him along in his training. I do have a young girl putting a few rides on him right now. No buck or bolt. He’s great to load and to saddle loves treats and loves beingbrushed. The little neighbour girls come up and brush him all the time



Gus does have ring bone on the left hind however he is NOT lame on. Last fall X-rays were done and it was 80% fused. Do have X-rays if someone wants to see them.







I have put some pictures of Gus’s sire Virgil. He’s my friends quarter horse Percheron cross. Virgil throws fantastic minds on all his babies.



I want to make a personal note this is not easy for me to list him as I was excited for our future, however some dreams are not meant to be. I got really sick at the end of January and his height is a little too much for me right now especially if I’m opening and closing gates and by myself out there. I’m wanting to him go to a great home.
