Fortress Equipment Sales and Rentals is seeking reliable and experienced DZ Drivers to join our growing team. We have immediate openings available for DZ Class drivers in the Ottawa Valley area. The ideal candidates will have experience working in both driving and operational environments. The driver will be responsible for both driving the truck and operating the forklift.

Preference given to operator with experience operating a Flatbed truck with Moffett Forlkift.

Full-time and Part-Time and Casual positions available.

Requirements
• Forklift certified or forklift experience required (training will be provided)
• Must have Valid DZ license with clean driver’s abstract
• Hardworking team player, flexible to work other duties as required
• Dependable, punctual and safety focussed

Work setting
• Workday starts in Richmond Ontario
• Hours will vary - Overtime may be required
• Monday – Friday
• Hourly rate will be dependent on experience

Tasks
• Safely operate DZ licensed commercial vehicles
• Conduct pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
• Maintain delivery logs, documentation and reports
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, traffic laws and company policies during transportation
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness
