Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting large area mowers. This role requires mechanical knowledge, experience with various tools and systems, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment. The Equipment Mechanic will play a vital role in ensuring operational efficiency and safety across our facilities. Job is generally Monday thru Friday 8 to 10 hour days. In the summer we don't work many weekends but it is possible. In the winter we clear snow which can have odd hours including evening, night and weekends. $30.00 per hour wage

Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on large area mowers
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Conduct welding, assembly, and disassembly of components as needed
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to repair and maintain machinery
Operate or oversee the operation of equipment during maintenance or repair procedures
Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during all maintenance activities
Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks

Qualifications
Proven mechanic experience
Strong mechanical knowledge related to industrial equipment and automotive repair
Experience working with schematics, electrical systems, and power tools
Skilled in welding, assembly, and use of hand tools
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment if required
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Strong customer service skills for interactions with internal teams or external clients
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
