Responsibilities:
The Gas Station Customer Service Representative will be responsible for greeting customers in a professional and friendly manner, assisting customers with fuel purchases, convenience store items, lottery, tobacco, and other products as required. The representative will process cash, debit, credit, and other transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Duties will also include stocking shelves, organizing products, checking inventory levels, and ensuring the store remains clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring fuel pumps, responding to customer inquiries, maintaining the cleanliness of the store, washrooms, fuel pump areas, and surrounding property, and ensuring that all safety procedures are followed. The representative may also be required to check identification for age-restricted products, follow company policies, report maintenance or safety concerns, and assist with opening or closing duties depending on the shift.
Qualifications:
Applicants should have strong customer service and communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Previous retail, cashier, or gas station experience is an asset but not required. Candidates must be reliable, punctual, honest, and comfortable working flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
