Job Overview
• Role: Quilting Machine Operator / Technician
• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Pay Rate: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
• Job Type: Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
• You will be responsible for preparing multi-needle or single-needle industrial quilting machines to produce high-quality quilted fabrics for mattresses, bedding, or textiles.
• Perform full mechanical setups, select appropriate patterns, and thread multiple needles and bobbins according to production specifications.
• Run computerized or mechanical industrial quilting machines efficiently while monitoring material feed.
• Modify machine settings, tension, and parameters to ensure correct pattern alignment, stitch length, and width.
• Inspect quilted fabric for skipped stitches, thread breaks, or material defects, and make immediate on-the-fly adjustments.
• Change needles, clean and oil the machine, and clear lint or thread jams to minimize downtime. Requirements
• Previous experience of setting up and adjusting industrial quilting machinery.
• Previous experience operating multi-needle quilting machines or textile equipment preferred.
• Ability to spot minor fabric defects and stitch irregularities quickly.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
