Job Title: Dental Assistant (Level II) – Part-Time to Full-Time
Location: Woodbridge, ON
Position Type: Part-Time (transitioning to Full-Time as the practice grows)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience and certification level)
About the Opportunity
Welcome to our brand-new dental office in Woodbridge! We are launching a modern, state-of-the-art practice and are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Dental Assistant to join us right from the starting line.
This is a unique opportunity to help build a clinical culture from the ground up. The position will begin as a part-time role with a structured training and trial period, transitioning into a permanent, full-time position as our patient base expands.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical and treatment procedures (chairside assisting).
Set up, organize, and maintain brand-new treatment rooms and dental instruments.
Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols according to IPAC guidelines.
Welcome new patients, help them feel comfortable, and assist in establishing a warm, welcoming environment.
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays), intra-oral impressions (for Level II), and 3D intra-oral scans.
Qualifications & Requirements
Certification: Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program (HARP certification is mandatory; NDAEB/Level II is highly preferred).
Experience: Experience is an asset, but we are fully prepared to train the right individual during our initial trial period.
Languages: Fluency in Italian is considered a strong asset to help us connect with and serve our local Woodbridge community.
Attributes: Reliability, adaptability, and a positive "can-do" attitude suitable for a dynamic, new startup environment.
