**Overhead Door Technician — Nanaimo & Campbell River**
**Full-Time | $40,000–$80,000/year**
Island Overhead Doors is hiring technicians for positions in **Nanaimo** and **Campbell River**. We're willing to train the right candidate — this is a genuine opportunity to learn a skilled, in-demand trade alongside experienced leaders.
**What You'll Do**
- Install, service, and repair overhead doors, rolling steel doors, dock equipment, and automatic operators
- Diagnose and repair issues with doors, openers, controls, and safety devices
- Perform inspections and preventative maintenance
- Read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specs
- Maintain service records, work orders, and parts inventory
- Represent the company professionally with customers

**What We're Looking For**
- Mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting aptitude
- Able to lift 50 lbs and work at heights
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Previous overhead/garage door experience is an asset — not a requirement
