NOW HIRING – Seasonal Class 1 Truck Driver
Cap-Pelé Bait Ltd.
Cap-Pelé Bait Ltd. is currently seeking a Seasonal Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, safety-conscious individual with a strong work ethic to support our transportation needs during our busiest seasons.
Position Details
This is a seasonal position with our peak operating periods occurring:
March through the end of July
Late August through November
There may also be work available between these busy seasons based on operational requirements.
This is a regional driving position, with routes primarily throughout the Maritime Provinces and surrounding areas. Weekend work and overnight trips may be required during peak periods.
Applicants must reside locally, as all company trucks are based out of Cap-Pelé, NB.
Responsibilities
Safely transport products to customers and suppliers.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
Load and unload products when required.
Maintain shipping and delivery documentation.
Follow all applicable transportation regulations and company safety policies.
Keep equipment clean and report any maintenance concerns promptly.
Represent Cap-Pelé Bait Ltd. professionally when dealing with customers.
Qualifications
Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence.
Clean driver's abstract.
Strong commitment to safety and professionalism.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to perform some physical work, including loading and unloading when required.
Previous commercial driving experience is considered an asset.
