This is NOT a kit car. It was one of many manufactured in Daytona Florida by the Allison Fiberglass Company to replicate the MG TD. They produced them with either a Nissan front engine or a VW dual port rear engine. This has the VW 1600 dual port engine with electronic ignition that works perfectly.The quality is excellent and the fiberglass finish was when sold guaranteed for life. It has to be seen to be appreciated. There are no marks or chips in the orginal 46 year old finish. No disapointments, if this is the type of vehicle you want there are none better.
