after 3 years of non use, my generator would not start. Replaced every thing with new parts: carb, fuel shut off valve and fuel lines, rods and springs, spark plug, fresh gas. Started and ran well with choke on. could not adjust high rpm. with choke off. Cause is likely to be governor race parts etc. inside the engine. I am not prepared to do this repair.
