THE VERITAS SHARPENING SYSTEM. Used with the Veritas Angle Jig, the guide sets blade projection for any of five bevel angles: 15°, 20°, 25°, 30° and 35°. The spring-loaded cam roller locks positively at each angle setting, making it repeatable from session to session. The guide holds blades up to 2 3/8" wide and up to 5/8" thick, covering narrow carving chisels through wide bench plane irons. It also accepts tapered and spokeshave blades. The wide roller and the positive positioning of the angle jig automatically square the blade as you register it.
