Part-Time Permanent Bookkeeper / Accounting Assistant (Remote)
Location: Remote (Edmonton and nearby areas)
Hours: Approximately 10–20 hours per month, with the possibility of additional hours based on business needs.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. This is a remote position; however, the successful candidate will be required to visit client locations to collect and deliver accounting documents when needed.

QuickBooks Online experience is mandatory. Please do not apply if you have not previously worked with QuickBooks Online.

Responsibilities
Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Perform bank and account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate bookkeeping records using QuickBooks Online.
Support payroll processing and maintain related documentation.
Prepare basic financial reports and summaries for management.
Ensure financial records are accurate, organized, and compliant with company procedures.
Collect and deliver accounting documents to and from client locations as required.
Qualifications
1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
Proven experience using QuickBooks Online.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of bookkeeping principles, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Transportation

The successful candidate must be able to travel to client locations to pick up and deliver accounting documents. Candidates may use:

Their own vehicle with a valid driver's licence (mileage will be reimbursed), or
Public transit (bus fare will be reimbursed).
