Official Course & Language Requirements:
Energy Safety Canada sets strict baseline standards for safety and testing. All participants must meet the following criteria:
Identification: Must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the start of class (mandatory for certification).
Physical Capability: Must be physically capable of safely participating in practical drills, including donning/doffing a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and executing basic rescue drag movements.
Energy Safety Canada English Proficiency: In compliance with ESC regulations, all participants must be proficient in English. You must be fully prepared to read course materials, understand verbal safety commands, write answers, and complete the mandatory written exam independently in English.
