Boomer, is a 6-7 year old Shetland pony (breed tested, said old English Shetland)
Stands around 11.0 hands.

Boomer came to us as a basically untouched with very little history.
He’s now halter and foot broke , lunges beautifully, can send over obstacles , has been saddled countless times without an issue, (never ridden though) also had a huge tarp put on him and led around without any problems.
He’s still tricky to catch but once caught is amazing.
Lives in a herd of horses no problem and does ok on free choice hay but never had free choice grass so never had to worry about founder.

Boomer does have issues trusting big people particularly men, but loves the 14 year boy that works with him and is very gentle with children, although can be touchy and moves quickly so would recommend for an experienced teen or supervised by an experienced adult.
He’s very smart and picks up on things quickly, just needs someone to take the time he needs to bring him along..


Only reason for sale is had a few unexpected bills and so something has to give and I’m focusing on my registered program.

Priced: $1800 will be getting him back into regular work and possibly get him riding then price will go up accordingly.
