Harmony Guitar Expertise Needed

Description
Hello. I have recently acquired an approximately 70-80 year old Harmony arch top. This guitar has it's original case ( literally hanging on by a thread lol).
This guitar has no serial number whatsoever. Not a stamp, nor glue residue from an internal label.
I actually took pictures of the guitar and sent them to harmony.com.
They responded that they haven't seen this model, nor the graphics on the headstock.
They literally had no answers for me.
The machine heads are new, the tail piece is new ( I have the original m.hs. and the black wooden original mint condition tail piece) I believe the floating bridge is new as well (no original was with the guitar.)
There are no cracks dings or dents. Light wear on the upper frets, any other blemishes are superficial and do not penetrate the wood, just the stain.
I had a1941 Harmony Master arch top and it also had it's original case. This case and the '41 are identical other than the width as the guitar pictured is a narrower body.
My thoughts are being it has no serial number and the thickness of the neck and the narrow body, I'm wondering if this guitar isn't a prototype of a possible early steel lap top.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
