I have a vintage King 2416 for sale, without the case, neck or mouthpiece. It is in excellent condition; see the attached photos.

This model is nearly identical to the Super 20, but without the engraving the Super 20 had, and may well be a Super 20 without engraving, which was common in the last years of production. Some Super 20s were still being sold with the standard S20 engraving, while a few were sold with the product number engraved on it; however, since it clearly shows "King 2416 USA" on the side, assume that is the model. This tenor has that BIG and edgy King sound found in the late-model Super 20s.

Here is info from the Internet about this model. The King 2416 was the designated model number for the late-model King Super 20 saxophone. The serial number of this instrument is 858359, which I believe places its production around 1983. (see photo).

King saxophones, built by the H. N. White Company of Cleveland (and later Eastlake), Ohio, produced one of the most celebrated jazz horns in American history — the King Super 20. Played by Charlie Parker and Cannonball Adderley among many others, King saxophones from the Voll-True through to the Super 20 remain highly sought after by collectors and working musicians alike.

It is in excellent condition; see the attached photos with minor wear and 'buckle rash' on the inside belly from playing, consistent with most saxophones.

The sax does not have a case, strap, neck or mouthpiece, just the body as shown. I have sourced a company that has a suitable mouthpiece and neck if you are interested, and both for under $100 total.

If you need it shipped instead, the sax will be bubble-wrapped in a box, then shipped ground or air, with a tracking number and insurance to any address in the US or Canada.
