6 Point Energy Services Inc. is growing, and we are looking to add an experienced Class 1 drivers to our team in Grande Prairie.

We have ongoing work in the energy and oilfield transportation industry and are looking for dependable drivers who take pride in operating safely, communicating properly and looking after their equipment.

This position is best suited for drivers who understand that oilfield work can change quickly and who are comfortable working as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers.
Complete oilfield, energy-service and frac-related transportation work.
Complete accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Immediately report defects, damage or maintenance concerns.
Maintain accurate electronic logs and supporting paperwork.
Communicate job status and operational updates with dispatch and management.
Keep assigned equipment clean and properly maintained.
Follow customer, site and company safety requirements.
Properly complete load documents, tickets and required paperwork.
Maintain professional conduct when dealing with customers and site personnel.
Requirements
Valid Alberta Class 1 driver’s licence.
Acceptable five-year commercial driver’s abstract.
Previous commercial driving experience.
Oilfield, frac, Super B or off-road experience is preferred.
Strong understanding of Hours of Service and electronic logs.
Able to complete accurate vehicle inspections and paperwork.
Comfortable working changing schedules based on project requirements.
Reliable, safety-minded and able to communicate clearly.
Willing to take responsibility for assigned equipment.
Able to pass the company’s hiring, orientation and driver-evaluation process.

Current oilfield safety certifications are an asset, including:

H2S Alive
Standard First Aid
Common Safety Orientation

Pay structure varies depending on project and type of work being performed.
