CLXT - Combined Laboratory / Xray Technologist OR Xray Technolog
Description
We are a medical center in a beautiful state of the art facility looking to hire a Full time Combined X-ray technician to start as soon as possible. We will also accept applications for an x-ray technician. Scheduled hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM.
We provide blood work services Monday to Friday from 8AM-1230PM and X-ray from 8AM-4PM. There is a possibility of extended hours, which will be subsidized with overtime payment as required.
Our starting wage is $28-32 per hour.
The successful candidate will perform a variety of laboratory and medical imaging procedures within the scope of their certification, including the following:
1. Routine laboratory testing, and X-ray procedures in accordance with departmental policies.
2. Perform routine and preventative maintenance of equipment and trouble shoot equipment problems as required.
3. Reception duties, including but not limited to: Booking appointments, Answering telephones, Screening clients, Cleaning clinic equipment, and Laundry.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved Combined Laboratory X-ray Technologist program / X-ray Technologist program
Registered with a provincial licensing body
Prefer experience in a physician’s office – References to be included in resume
