Part-time Commercial Cleaner

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team.
Start date of August 21.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments. This role is essential in ensuring that the location is welcoming, safe, and presentable for all customers and staff. The Cleaner will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks in commercial settings, contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere.

6:00 am - 9:30 am
Monday to Friday
Pay: CA$17.75 per hour
Job Type: Part-time (3.5 hours per day/ 5 days a week)
Work Location: In person
Duties:
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing and finishing floors in designated areas. Ensure all restrooms are cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies. Clean and sanitize surfaces, equipment, and furniture to maintain hygiene standards. Dispose of waste materials properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure efficiency and thoroughness. Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Experience:
Previous custodial experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus. Previous experience using scrubber and finishing machines for floors considered an asset. Training will be available.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work responsibilities.
If training is required desired training date will begin August 14.
