Custom Crating Solutions Inc. is looking for a dependable, hands-on individual to join our small team 2 to 4 days per week, approximately 4 to 6 hours per day.

This position is ideal for a retired carpenter, cabinetmaker, or other skilled tradesperson who enjoys building quality projects and wants to stay active without the demands of full-time work.

**What You'll Be Doing**

* Building custom wooden shipping crates
* Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other shop equipment
* Shipping and receiving
* General shop duties
* Working alongside a small, friendly team

**Requirements**

* Reliable transportation to and from our Calgary shop
* Able to lift up to 100 lbs
* Experience operating a forklift (or willingness to learn)
* Comfortable using common woodworking tools safely
* Bondable
* Dependable, punctual, and takes pride in quality workmanship

**What We're Looking For**

We're looking for someone who enjoys working with their hands, has good common sense, and takes pride in building things properly.

Our company specializes in custom crating and protective packaging for artwork, antiques, estate collections, and other high-value items, so attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are important.

**Schedule**

* Part-time
* Approximately 2 to 4 days per week
* Approximately 4 to 6 hours per day
* Flexible schedule for the right person
* Occasional overtime may be available during busy periods

**Pay**

Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
