Brook, Bramble, and Brock were born on July 2, and will be ready for new homes in September. Their parents are our farm dogs and live outside year round. Because of the heat and mosquitoes, mom and pups were moved to the house and the picture is of the pups chilling in the screen porch. The other photos are of the parents. I will update the puppy photos as they grow.

If you think you might have a home for one of them, they will be available for visiting anytime in August. We live 20 minutes east of Edmonton, just off Highway 16. Of course, a deposit will be required to hold a pup, if you decide on one. They will have their first shots and a veterinary check, well before leaving the farm. This is a hardy, friendly, versatile breed that has been used for livestock protection and herding for centuries. They are not aggressive to people, but will keep unwelcome wildlife and roaming dogs away. They look a little like huskies, but are smaller, smarter, and better suited to family and farm life. They are not related to huskies and are descended from wolves (as all dogs are) along a different line - the Northern Spitz breeds (originally Viking dogs).
