Loving Home Wanted for Our 9-Year-Old Chihuahua

It breaks our hearts to write this, but we’re looking for the perfect forever home for our sweet 9-year-old female Chihuahua, Cache.

Due to a change in our lifestyle, we’ll be traveling frequently, and Cache deserves a home where someone is with her most of the day. She thrives on companionship and attention, and we know she would be much happier with someone who can give her the time and love she needs.

About Cache:

• ❤️ 9-year-old female Chihuahua
• ❤️ Very affectionate, loyal, and loves being close to her person
• ❤️ No known health issues
• ❤️ Gets along with cats that are already comfortable around dogs
• ❤️ Best as the only dog in the home, as she does not do well with other dogs
• ❤️ Needs to go outside every 2–3 hours for bathroom breaks
• ❤️ Not a fan of car rides and tends to whimper, so a home where she doesn’t need to travel often would be ideal
• ❤️ She has always eaten home-cooked/people food rather than commercial dog food

The ideal home for Cache:
We believe she’d be happiest with a retired couple, a retiree, or someone who works from home and is around most of the day. She isn’t the type of dog who enjoys being left alone for long periods—she truly wants to be part of your everyday life.

Because this decision is incredibly difficult, we will not be placing her on a first-come, first-served basis. Finding the right home is our only priority. We’d like to meet her potential new family, know where she’ll be living, and we’d appreciate occasional updates after she’s settled in so we know she’s happy.

This is one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, and we ask that only those who can truly provide the love, patience, and companionship Cache deserves reach out.

Cache comes with her bed, cage, toys, treats, (not food because she eats human food) harass, leash, outfits, nail clippers, brush.
