Looking for Owner Operator Delivery Drivers
Description
We are looking for reliable owner operator delivery drivers to join our team in the Etobicoke area (M8V). Drivers use their own vehicle to complete daily delivery routes across the GTA.
Requirements
Valid Ontario driver's licence (G class)
Clean driver's abstract (required at time of hire)
Own vehicle in good working condition
Valid vehicle insurance and registration
Ability to lift and handle packages
Punctual, professional, and comfortable working independently
Details
Location: Etobicoke, ON (M8V)
Schedule: [days and hours]
Pay: [rate per route / per delivery / per hour]
To apply, call or text 647-296-7421.
Things worth adding before you post:
Vehicle type and size: cargo van, sprinter, pickup, or standard car. This filters out a lot of wasted calls.
Commercial insurance requirement: most delivery work needs it, and personal auto policies will not cover it. Say so upfront.
Pay structure and frequency: per stop, per route, or daily guarantee, and whether it is weekly or biweekly. Postings without pay get far fewer serious applicants.
Route area and volume: rough number of stops per day and the general zones covered.
Start time and expected shift length.
HST number / self-employed status: owner operators invoice you, so state that they are responsible for their own fuel, maintenance, and taxes.
Criminal background check if the client requires one.
Smartphone requirement for the delivery app or scanner.
Experience preferred: e.g. one year of delivery or courier experience.
