Glenview Iron & Metal is currently seeking a
Full-Time Labourer
to join our Non-Ferrous Metals team. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced industrial environment where you will be responsible for receiving, sorting, processing, and handling a variety of non-ferrous metals. We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy physical activity, and are committed to maintaining a safe workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner while following company procedures.
Receive, unload, and sort incoming non-ferrous materials.
Identify, inspect, and separate various types of non-ferrous metals.
Weigh, organize, and prepare materials for shipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or recycling environment is preferred.
Knowledge of non-ferrous metals is considered an asset.
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, standing, and repetitive manual tasks.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
