1999 Chevrolet Express 2500 High-Top Cargo Van – 5.7L V8 – $4,400 OBO

Selling my 1999 Chevrolet Express 2500 high-top cargo van with approximately 318,000 km and the reliable 5.7L Vortec V8.

I've owned this van since 2008. It was originally a former EnMax van and has been an absolute workhorse for me over the years in my flooring contracting business.

I've since downsized my operations and now use a smaller work truck for my daily work, so this van has seen very little use over the past two years. Rather than have it continue sitting, it's time to let it go.

It starts, runs and drives well and has been a very dependable van throughout my ownership.

Maintenance / mechanical history:

New alternator
Fuel pump replaced winter 2024
Spark plugs, wires and distributor cap replaced fairly recently
Transmission replaced with a rebuilt unit in 2014
Brakes have been serviced/replaced approximately three times during my ownership
Tires are in good condition with plenty of tread
No known engine or transmission leaks
The fiberglass high-top roof provides excellent interior height and makes this a very practical contractor/work van with plenty of cargo space. It could also make a great candidate for a camper conversion. Existing shelving and storage are included as shown in the photos.

I've owned it for 18 years, so I know the van and its history very well. It's a 27-year-old work van, so it's not perfect. There is some rust and cosmetic wear, the windshield needs replacing, and it has a few minor age-related quirks.

Overall, this van has been a great workhorse for me for many years, and the 5.7L Vortec still runs strong. With some TLC, it should have plenty of useful life left for someone looking for an affordable work van, cargo van or conversion project.
