We are looking to add Estheticians to our team! At Salka Spa we are focused on creating memories for our guests while they visit Hecla Island, in a relaxing and soothing setting. We offer a wide range of services including Manicure, Pedicure, Massage, Waxing, Tinting, Facials, Body Treatments including Vichy Shower. We are seeking someone who is passionate about esthetics, self-motivated, customer-service oriented, and is willing to learn & grow with the team.
Apprentices welcome! We offer onsite training and continuing education with Eminence Organic Skincare.
Job description:
Estheticians are responsible for providing services related to the skin, body, and nails. You may be required to check in clients as they arrive and to also schedule new appointments. Salka Spa Estheticians may also be required to answer the telephone and booking appointments. They will also oversee general maintenance and cleaning of the Spa rooms and all staff only areas.

Qualifications:
• Reliable
• Maintain a clean, professional image
• Carry an Apprenticeship Bluebook or Journeyman License
• Good Communication skills
• *Computer skills are an asset*
• Ability to work flexible hours. Typically, 10:00am to 6:30pm.
Responsibilities:
• Performing esthetics services on clients.
• Ability to handle chemicals and cleaning products.
• Covering the reception desk when needed. Reception tasks such as cashier duties and booking appointments.
• Ensure treatment areas are fully stocked, neat and sanitary.

Wages: Apprentices Starting $20.00hourly. Journeyman $25.00houlry
All services have 15% auto gratuity. Tips are not garnished.
