CSA Visual Welding Inspector (Level 1 or Level 2) – MT2 & UT2
Pay: CA$45.00-CA$50.00 per hour
Location: Edmonton, Alberta (Travel Required)
Aegis Inspection Ltd. is seeking a motivated and professional CSA Visual Welding Inspector (Level 1 or Level 2) with CGSB MT Level 2 and UT Level 2 certifications to join our growing inspection team.
This position involves structural steel inspections throughout the Edmonton area and surrounding regions. Occasional travel is required.
Minimum Qualifications
• CSA W178.2 Visual Welding Inspector – Level 1 or Level 2
• CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) Level 2
• CGSB Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 2
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Reliable vehicle
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience performing structural steel inspections
• Strong knowledge of CSA W59 and CSA S16 requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage inspection schedules
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Responsibilities
• Perform visual welding inspections in accordance with CSA standards
• Conduct Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
• Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports
• Communicate inspection findings with clients and project personnel
• Maintain inspection equipment and documentation
• Represent Aegis Inspection Ltd. professionally on client sites
