We got older and plumb run out of strength to finish our country year-round retreat. The cabin qualifies as a 3 season off-grid on the way to year round living. This project is crying out for a handyman to finish up a cabin built like a fortress, with thick bolted beams exceeding code. At 428 sq ft it doesn't qualify as a tiny house nor does it feel like one with ceilings peaking at 12 ft.
A newly installed shale driveway, with extra wide entrance leading 175 ft into a 35 ft RV ramp, and another parking ramp. Completely new roof, asphalt on one side and new metal on other to catch pure rainwater into a 1000L tank below. (there is a shallow well on property but probably not sufficient to supply a house). Our electrician told us to rough wire the house (which we did) but we haven't seen him since. We run with a generator. NS Power has approved and marked location for a free hydro pole to the house.
This property does NOT have running water or a septic, however there's a working outhouse.
