Commercial Kitchen Cleaner – Spruce Meadows,
SW Calgary We are looking for a reliable commercial kitchen cleaner for a recurring position near Spruce Meadows in Southwest Calgary.
Job Details - Location: Spruce Meadows area, SW Calgary
- Schedule: Once per week - 4 shifts per month
- Hours: Approximately 3 hours per shift
- Pay: $1,000 per month - Training: Free training provided we will teach you exactly how to perform the cleaning duties and safely use the equipment and chemicals.
Job Duties: The job is straightforward and includes: - Spraying commercial kitchen walls and floors with chemical degreaser
- Using a pressure washer to wash the degreaser and grease off the walls and floors
- Spraying and pressure washing the kitchen drain - Mopping floors - Operating a floor scrubber machine the worker will primarily be pushing the machine
- Following all required cleaning and chemical-safety procedures
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and properly maintained The work involves water, grease, cleaning chemicals, pressure washing, and physical activity, so applicants must be comfortable performing these duties safely.
Requirements - Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Must currently live in Calgary, Alberta
- Must have your own reliable vehicle
- Must provide proof that you have access to a vehicle
- Must be comfortable working with commercial cleaning chemicals and degreasers
- Must be comfortable using a pressure washer - Must be physically able to push a floor-scrubbing machine and perform the cleaning duties
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must be able to work independently after completing the provided training
Gender-Specific Requirement This position requires a male cleaner due to the nature of the cleaning duties and the areas being serviced. The position involves cleaning male-only/private facilities where the presence of a male cleaner is required for privacy and operational reasons. This requirement is directly related to the duties and working environment of the position. Applicants must also be legally authorized to work in Canada, reside in Calgary, Alberta, and have their own reliable vehicle and transportation to the job site.
Important Information: We do not provide transportation, transportation assistance, visas, or work permits. You must already be legally authorized to work in Canada and must have your own transportation to the job site. The position is once per week, 4 times per month, with each cleaning taking approximately 3 hours.
