This is Bauer

Bauer is a cane corso x staffy mix. He is an intact 1 year old male. He is about 50/60 lbs and closer to staffy size.

His good points. He is very friendly with kids and people in general. He is great with recall in a dog free environment. He is very nose driven and would make an excellent hunting/trapping dog. He loves to cuddle and be close to the family.

He's negatives. Unfortunately his pray drive is high. He is not friendly with other dogs. We tried socializing him as a pup with chickens, rabbits, cats and other small animals. Unfortunately he would kill them if he got ahold of them. He needs a large fenced area.

We need to rehome him as we can't trust him with the animals on our homestead. We have tried many different ways to help him adjust on our homestead but it isn't working out and we can't risk it. We need to keep him tied for the safety of our other animals which is no life for him and it makes us sad.

We are asking for an adoption fee and wish for him to go to a home with a large fenced yard or forest/countryside. He should be muzzled while walking in public places.
