Hello everyone,

I cannot even begin to express how difficult it is to make this posting.

I have a 9 year old ragdoll named Mimi who I have had for about two years now. I got her from the granddaughter of her previous owner who passed away and after 2 years of trying relentlessly (medication, reintroductions, keeping separated, calming collars, etc), I cannot get Mimi comfortable with my other cats.

She is, and I mean it with full sincerity, the SWEETEST and most LOVABLE cat in the entire universe. She would spend all day curled up on your neck if you would let her. She deserves so much better than to be scared in my home, and needs to be with someone who does not have any other animals.

I am really hoping I can find the perfect home for her. She does well with kids, but I think she would best enjoy being with an older single person or couple as she is far more interested in snuggling up than playing all day.

She does have a benign lump on her tail that she has had since birth—it does not cause her any pain and it has been checked by the vet on multiple occasions from when she was owned by her original owner and myself as well. It does not affect her in any way, but I wanted to include that in her description.

This absolutely breaks my heart, but she deserves to be comfortable and happy and would just absolutely love to be someone’s personal teddy bear. She has never bitten, scratched, or hissed at a person and she is a perfect example of the ragdoll’s beautiful temperament. She loves to be groomed, she lets you clip her nails, and she loves tummy rubs. She starts purring before you even touch her, and she always talks back when you talk to her. She is a chatty, gentle, loving girl who is in good health aside from the stress she endures while being around other cats.

I do not want any payment for her, I just really want to be sure that she is going to her perfect forever home because she is an absolute angel and I will miss her so dearly.

For the right home, I would also be open to driving her to her new home free of charge.
