GC Flooring is looking for a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver with good communication and customer service skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering flooring products safely and efficiently to customers throughout Ottawa and surrounding areas.

Job Details
• Job Type: Full-time, in-person
• Pay: $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Vacation: 3 weeks paid vacation
• Vehicle: Company-provided delivery truck

Responsibilities
• Safely operate a company delivery truck to transport flooring products throughout the Greater Ottawa Area and surrounding communities.
• Load, unload, and properly handle flooring materials, ensuring products are protected from damage.
• Deliver products to residential and commercial locations.
• Pick up and deliver materials from suppliers to job sites, customers and our warehouse.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries and any issues that may arise.
• Perform basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns, keeping the delivery truck clean, organized, and in good condition.
• Assist with warehouse duties and other tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience
• Must provide a clean drivers abstract to be considered.
• Valid Ontario driver's licence.
• Good knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to safely lift and carry flooring materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Previous delivery or commercial driving experience is an asset.
• Experience handling flooring and building materials is an asset.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
