The job requirements include the ability to work with others in a team environment, self motivated, hard worker and in good physical condition. A valid driver's license would be considered an asset.
The responsibilities of landscape workers include duties relative to landscaping. A successful candidate would be able to complete a large amount of labor work such as using wheel barrels, digging, planting, laying sod as well as many other physical tasks.
Lawn maintenance workers responsibilities are to use push mowers and hand held trimmers. Although not required any previous professional lawn maintenance experience would also be considered a very strong asset.
Wages start at $18 and go up depending on level of experience and valued assets mentioned above. Overtime is paid at time and a half & in most cases, weekends and holidays are time off.
An extra perk at Evergreen is that we pay any overtime over 8 hours as well as pay through lunch.
