Sales Consultant — Managed IT Services | Commission Only | Edmonton & National
My name is Joel Davies. I've been building and managing computer systems for businesses for 30 years. I run two managed IT brands — Computers Edmonton serving Edmonton law firms and property managers, and BusiBoxx serving small businesses nationally across Canada.
I'm looking for one person who can open doors.
What the job actually is:
You talk to business owners. You find out if they're frustrated with their technology situation. You get their name, business name, phone number, email, and what's bothering them. You make the introduction. I'll handle the technical conversation and close the deal until you're ready to do it yourself.
That's it. No cold calling scripts. No quota meetings. No micromanagement.
What you earn:
100% of the client's first month invoice — paid to you within 14 days of their first payment clearing.
Here's what that looks like in real numbers:
A 5-person Edmonton law firm — your commission: ~$2,150
A 10-user trades company in Vancouver — your commission: ~$3,750
Two deals in a month — you do the math
No cap. No territory restrictions. Clients commit to 3 months — after that it's month to month. If a client leaves in month 2 or 3 for a service reason, that's on us — you keep your commission.
Who this works for:
You already talk to business owners. Maybe you're in commercial real estate, accounting, bookkeeping, legal support, insurance, or trades. Maybe you're just someone who knows a lot of people and has always been good at connecting the right ones together.
You don't need an IT background. You need to be able to listen, communicate clearly, and follow through.
Who this doesn't work for:
Anyone who needs a guaranteed paycheque to get out of bed. Anyone who needs someone else to motivate them. This is commission only — designed to pay well for the right person and filter out everyone else.
Edmonton candidates — you'd be representing ComputersEdmonton.com locally.
All other Canadian markets — you'd be representing BusiBoxx.com nationally.
