1981 pro street Camaro
Description
1981 Camaro Z28 Pro Street — 468 BBC
I’m putting my 1981 Z28 Pro Street up for sale. This is a car I’ve put together to be a serious street/strip car, but also something you can actually enjoy driving on the street.
It has a fresh 468 Big Block Chevy with only about 10 hours of run time. The motor was professionally built and I have the build sheet for it. Between 650-700hp, It runs on 91 octane pump. Full MSD 6AL and 2 Step. MSD Pro Billet Distributor. 1050 dominator carb. Holley black electric fuel pump and regulator.
Hooker Super Competition headers with 4” collectors and fully quick change exhaust.
Built TH350 with a new pump and bearing, reverse shift pattern with a manual valve body, heat-treated input shaft and Ultra Bell bellhousing. Aftermarket transmission cooler. New 3500 Allstar converter, trans brake.
Out back is a Dana 60 with Strange axles, full tub with fibreglass fenders and a full 4-Link with HAL adjustable coil overs, 32.0x14x15 rear tire (can take bigger.) It also has a fiberglass hood with a 10” cowl. New weld wheels (15x15)
Inside has a full custom aluminum dash with autometer gauges, B&M Pro Shifter, Bucket seats with 5 point harnesses, Painless wiring harness.
A few of the highlights:
• Fresh 468 BBC — only 10 hours (EST 650-700HP)
• 1050 Dominator
• Built TH350 - Ultra Bell
• Dana 60
• Strange axles
• Full cage
• Fiberglass 10” cowl hood
• Fully street legal
• Runs on 91 octane
It’s a pretty wild car, but it’s not some trailer-only race car. It’s street legal, runs on pump gas, and is meant to be driven.
I’m sure I’m forgetting some details, so I have the engine build sheet and can send more pictures/videos to anyone seriously interested.
No tire kickers, please. If you know what goes into building one of these, you know this isn’t a cheap car to put together.
