I’m a Red Deer stay-at-home parent creating The Sleepy Pages with my three-year-old—a collection of calm, gently narrated children’s stories for quiet evenings and bedtime, available free on YouTube and Spotify.

I’m looking for hobby, student or emerging illustrators and photographers interested in contributing original visuals for existing or future stories. The current videos use AI-generated visuals as temporary artwork, which I would ideally like to replace with work from individual creators as soon as suitable contributions become available.

This is an unpaid collaboration, which I want to make clear upfront. There is no required number of images, firm deadline or ongoing commitment. Someone could contribute a single image, several related scenes or a complete visual collection.

Illustrations could be created for an existing story or developed for something new. Photography could include subjects such as animals, landscapes, plants, weather, interesting objects, buildings or carefully arranged miniature scenes. Photographs should not contain identifiable people, personal information or prominent commercial branding.

If a creator already has a cohesive set of original illustrations or photographs, it may also be possible for us to develop and write an entirely new story around them, provided they suit the channel’s calm, child-friendly format.

Contributors would receive visible credit and, where appropriate, a link to their portfolio or professional page. Creators would retain ownership of their work while granting The Sleepy Pages permission to use the agreed images on YouTube, Spotify and related promotional materials. Because the channel could eventually be monetized, all intended uses would be discussed and agreed upon before anything is accepted.
