Second Chance Sanctuary is looking for compassionate, reliable volunteers to help support our youth-run animal rescue and the animals in our care.

Founded and operated by 13-year-old Isla MacMillan with family support, Second Chance Sanctuary is dedicated to giving animals in need the second chances they deserve. Our volunteers play an important role in helping us care for animals, support our rescue work, and grow our community.

WAYS YOU CAN HELP:

Animal Care
• Feeding and basic animal care
• Cleaning and maintaining animal areas
• Enrichment and spending time with animals

Farm & Property Help
• Barn and property chores
• Gardening and general maintenance
• Fencing and other hands-on projects

Events & Fundraising
• Helping plan and set up events
• Assisting during fundraisers and community events
• Supporting fundraising activities

Social Media & Administration
• Social media posts and content
• Graphics and promotional materials
• Research, emails, organization, and other behind-the-scenes tasks
