Job Summary
Chez Devi, a well-established Indian restaurant at 1450 Crescent, Montréal, is looking for an experienced Indian Cook to join our kitchen team. This work will be conducted primarily in English.
The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of authentic North and South Indian cuisine and can prepare high-quality dishes while working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen. Responsibilities include preparing and cooking meals, maintaining food quality and cleanliness, managing inventory, ordering supplies, and supporting daily kitchen operations.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of Indian cooking experience
Experience with North & South Indian cuisine
Prep work, Indian appetizers, marinate tandoori dishes, Prepare and cook a variety of curry dishes
Able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
Reliable, organized, and a team player
Available for weekdays and weekends
Professional qualification :
Informal training in a restaurant or in a hotel restaurant or dinning room.
