About the Role
Action Home Services is a 12-year, 150 employee company serving the GTA. Our commercial snow & ice division protects manufacturing plants, logistics centres, retirement residences, private schools and medical buildings.
We’re hiring a Field Sales Representative to help grow our commercial business this winter.
This is a boots-on-the-ground sales role. We drive you to a commercial area, drop you off, and your job is to walk into businesses, find the facility or operations manager, and book a qualified meeting. You open the door — our team closes the deal.
What You’ll Do
Walk assigned commercial/industrial areas
Professionally approach businesses and find the decision-maker
Gather information about their current snow contractor and contract timing
Record site details and contact information
Take property photos
Book qualified appointments
Report results at the end of each shift
How You Get Paid
Performance-based pay for appointments booked and meetings held. The harder and smarter you work, the more you earn. Top performers can earn $40–50/hr equivalent.
What You Need
Confident approaching strangers and starting conversations — #1 requirement
Professional and presentable
Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
Comfortable working independently outdoors
Physically able to walk for most of the shift
Smartphone for photos and notes
Fluent English
Able to get to a daily GTA meeting point
Sales/canvassing experience is an asset, but not required — we train
Schedule
Monday–Friday · approximately 9:00 AM–3:30 PM · ~30 hrs/week
Seasonal position from August through November, with potential to extend. Daytime hours only — no evenings or weekends.
