We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to lead our merchandising strategy and help shape the future of our business. Reporting directly to ownership, you will be responsible for building world-class assortments, strengthening vendor partnerships and driving profitable growth across our retail and e-commerce channels. This full-time and permanent position is an opportunity to influence the direction of a growing luxury retailer while working with some of the most respected brands in the world.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of luxury menswear, premium fabrics, international brands and evolving consumer trends. They will be responsible for building assortments that balance fashion leadership with commercial performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity with data-driven decision making and who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment where their work has a direct impact on the success of the business.
Duties include:
Develop seasonal buying strategies across luxury apparel, footwear and accessories
Analyze market trends, fashion collections and consumer demand to identify growth opportunities
Build and maintain strong relationships with premium and luxury brand partners
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, exclusivity agreements and delivery schedules
Review sales performance, inventory levels and open-to-buy budgets to maximize profitability
Select and purchase merchandise for resale while maintaining brand positioning
Forecast seasonal demand and manage replenishment programs
Monitor sell-through, markdown performance and gross margin objectives
Collaborate with visual merchandising, e-commerce and marketing teams on product launches and seasonal campaigns
Work closely with store leadership to ensure merchandise assortment aligns with client needs
Identify new and emerging luxury brands that complement the existing assortment
Maintain appropriate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory
Prepare reports and recommendations for senior leadership
Manage flow of incoming merchandise
Requirements:
Education: University degree or college diploma in business administration, marketing, retail management or related field. Equivalent related retail buying experience will be considered.
Experience:
Two to three years of combined retail and retail buying experience.
Some experience with:
Inventory management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Business intelligence and reporting tools.
This position is in-person and requires English language ability.
