Wells Contracting Inc. is looking for a dependable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team in Edmonton and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities include:

-Assisting equipment operators and ground crews
-Spotting equipment and working safely around excavations
-Assisting with underground utility and septic system installations
-Grade checking, shovelling, compacting and site cleanup
-Loading and unloading tools, equipment and materials
-Following company safety procedures and completing required documentation
-Performing other general construction duties as required

Requirements:

-Previous civil construction or underground utility experience is preferred
-Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation
-Physically capable of performing construction-related duties
-Dependable, punctual and willing to learn
-Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
-CSTS, Ground Disturbance, First Aid and other safety certifications are considered assets
-Able to work out of town
