About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sewing Machine Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility is sewing boat covers and boat storage covers using heavy-duty coated polyester/tarp fabric.

Responsibilities

-Operate Juki industrial sewing machines
-Sew boat covers and boat storage covers
-Work with heavy, coated polyester/tarp fabric
-Install and sew YKK marine zippers
-Perform fabric layout when required
-Follow measurements, patterns, and production instructions
-Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the sewing process

Requirements

Previous sewing experience is required
-Must be comfortable operating an industrial sewing machine
-Experience sewing heavy-duty fabrics is strongly preferred
-Must be able to sew independently and produce clean, consistent stitching
-Experience with boat covers, tarps, marine fabrics, or similar materials is an asset
-This is not a clothing/seamstress position — experience with lightweight fabrics or clothing alone is not suitable
-Ability to handle heavy coated polyester material

Working Hours & Breaks
Monday to Friday: 7:15 AM – 3:00 PM
30-minute unpaid lunch
15-minute paid morning break


Starting wage: $19/hour
