Two Handyman/General Labourers Needed – Property Removal Before Demolition

I am looking for two reliable and physically capable handyman/general labourers to help remove belongings, fixtures and reusable materials from a property before demolition.

Location: Centertown, Ottawa
Pay: $20 per hour, cash
Date: September 8 2026

The work will include:

* Removing light fixtures after the electrical power has been safely disconnected
* Removing interior doors and hardware
* Removing shower and sink
* Using common hand and power tools
* Moving refrigerators, furniture, building materials and other heavy items
* Carrying items on stairs and loading them carefully into a truck
* Sorting belongings and reusable materials as directed
* General property cleanout before demolition

Applicants must:

* Have handyman, renovation, moving or construction experience
* Know how to safely use common hand and power tools
* Be physically capable of lifting approximately 50–75 pounds
* Work carefully without unnecessarily damaging items being saved
* Be punctual, reliable and available for the full shift
* Wear work gloves, suitable clothing and safety boots

This is removal and salvage work only. It does not include structural demolition.
