Hi! My name is Mariah, and I am an Ontario educator with a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Health Studies, with several years of teaching experience working with students across a variety of grades, abilities, and learning needs.

I have experience teaching students from Grades 1–8, including Gifted education, and supporting students with IEPs, learning disabilities, ADHD, autism, English-language learning needs, and other exceptionalities. I use differentiated and individualized teaching strategies to meet students where they are and help them build their skills, confidence, and independence.

I offer support in literacy, mathematics, science, academic writing, homework and assignments, organization, study skills, and test preparation, depending on the student's grade and individual needs. My goal is to identify areas where a student may be struggling and provide patient, personalized instruction that works with their learning style.

All tutoring is private, one-on-one, and takes place either online or in a preferred location. This allows me to provide students with a quiet and comfortable environment where they can receive individualized attention and support.
