Hi-Berry Farm is hiring Seasonal Full-Time Farm Labourers for our farm in Port Elgin, Ontario.
Position: Farm Labourer
Wage: $17.95/hour
Employment: Seasonal Full-Time (April to October)
Location: 5639 Hwy 21, Port Elgin, Ontario N0H 2C6
Job Duties
Farm Labourers will assist with the production and preparation of field-grown fruits and vegetables. Duties include:
• Planting fruit and vegetable crops
• Maintaining crops, including weeding, thinning and pruning
• Irrigating crops
• Harvesting field fruits and vegetables
• Washing and trimming produce
• Packaging and preparing produce for market
• Performing other general farm labour duties as required
Qualifications
• Education: No formal education required
• Experience: No previous farm experience required
• Willingness and ability to perform physical outdoor work associated with fruit and vegetable farming
