BUSY construction company is immediately seeking an individual who is
“Experienced” in Residential Back-filling to operate our skid steer.
This position requires a “highly skilled” operator who pays attention to detail and can work independently as well as completely understands residential construction environments.
You need to be a reliable and safety oriented individual who performs your duties with the utmost regard at all times.

Duties include:
• Performing residential backfilling and grading to specification
• Loading trucks and trailers
• Hauling equipment to/from site
• Secure loads according to cargo securement standards
• Maintain accurate industry (Alberta) service logs
• Utilize highest level of safety practices around underground utilities
• Maintain clean and serviceable equipment at all times
• Work outdoors in all inclement weather conditions
• Adhere to all company safety policies & procedures

Minimum requirements:
• proven 3 years skid steer operating experience
• proven 3 years commercial truck and trailer driving experience
• Clean commercial abstract
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Q Endorsement and/or class 3 is an asset)
• Proven ability to load trucks
• Ability to work day or night shifts
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas
• Experience in residential construction or backfilling
• Experience loading/hauling equipment
• Experience with winter snow clearing and loading operations
• Ability to read & understand First Calls plan and plot plans
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Pay attention to safety and detail
